In the latest episode of the Dandelion podcast, I speak with Anton Chernikov from Selgars Mill.
Selgars Mill is an 8-acre estate in mid Devon featuring a historic millhouse, cottages, woodland, and an events barn. Anton shares the inspiring story of how he and his family transformed Selgars from a venue they initially rented for events into their forever home, using an innovative hybrid model that combines 6 months of co-living with 6 months of retreats and events.
We discuss three intriguing upcoming events at Selgars: Food is Medicine, a retreat exploring regenerative cooking and deepening our relationship with food; Enchanted, an intimate co-created gathering focused on community and creativity; and SOMOS, a unique program weaving together embodied leadership and nervous system regulation in nature. Anton also shares his longer-term vision for Selgars to inspire other landowners to adopt more regenerative approaches to land management while helping bridge the urban-rural divide through rural nomadic co-living.
